Grant Middle School is a learning community exemplifying scholarship, honor and service.The Grant Middle School community will work toward enabling students to become productive members of our society.

Paul Roney, who had been assistant principal at Eldorado High School since 2004, has been appointed principal of Grant Middle School, replacing Ed Briggs, who retired last month. Roney began his career as a special education teacher at Rio Grande High School 20 years ago.

Kevin Cummings, an assistant principal at Sandia High School has been reassigned as assistant principal at Grant Middle School. Cummings was an assistant principal at Taylor Middle School from 1999 to 2005. He also was an assistant principal at Del Norte High before moving to Sandia in 2007.
